Playing with my brother. whenever he breeds 2 of my dogs, the new dog/wolf will start attacking him no matter what. When my brother kills the crazed puppy/wolf, The game notification says "wolf was slain by "user" .
Steps to Reproduce
Player 2 joins world hosted by Player 1
Each player tames one dog / wolf
Make sure both dogs are in standing position and close enough to breed
Have Player 2 feed both dogs (bone, cooked beef, mutton, etc) so they breed
Observed Behavior
Newly born pup will immediately attack Player 2
Expected Behavior
Newly born pup should either be neutral toward Player 2 or friended by Player 2 since they did the breeding.
Issue also occurs if both wolves have been tamed by Player 1 (the non-breeding player).

P1 to host a world and have 1 dog tamed. P2 also requires 1 dog tamed.
While both dogs are in standing position, P2 will feed both dogs tamed by P1 and P2. (I was able to reproduce this issue with bone, cooked beef, mutton etc)
Once the 2 dogs start breeding, the new pup will immediately start attacking P2. When P2 kills the new pup, message received will be " Wolf slain by P2".
this happens every single time. even if the 2 dogs chosen to breed is tamed by P1.
I could not reproduce this using the steps given. However, tamed wolves will attack any mob that hits their owner or that their owner hits. Would that explain what you experienced?
can u join my session? i will show u. it's really annoying.. and this issue has not been solved since 2018? as per my reference before. .
