Howdy. I would like to report a serious bug that makes me pass away the desire to play Minecraft because because of this bug, if I open minecraft the second time after installing it, it takes a long time to show the loading screen and after much more time still, when the loading is finished I see the background that turns but without the buttons. Luckily I was able to save the download file in an apk and place it in the internal storage folder. But it is still inconvenient that to play I have to uninstall and reinstall it, then I have to reconfigure it. So:the first time after installation works normally, but the second time it does not. I waited 5 hours and still nothing.

Everything you mentioned(Performance texts,changelog) appear the first time, but when you open it the second time you see a black screen for 5 minutes, then the minecraft loading screen, then only the wallpaper(sometimes it is the beta one, sometimes the 1.17 one) spinning forever
I'm afraid that the only workaround I can think of is deleting and reinstalling every time there is an update, which is unacceptable.
I hope someone else has a better solution.
I can tell more details- i remember it first happened when i was opening(without activating) a texture pack
And when i open it for the 1st time after the download i cannot see my global resoruces on when creating a world texture packs or mod packs
It could be the pack having UI files that don’t work properly. The problem would have to occur with vanilla global resources to be considered a bug in Minecraft.

I see some other errors there - the text at the top of the screen showing device details and performance is missing.
Also, the first thing you should see after updating the beta is an abbreviated changelog. Does that appear, or nothing at all?
There should be no difference between an auto-update and an update made from running the installation apk from the same source (I assume Google Play store, since you're on Android)
This problem could come from Play Store - I have had their updates corrupt my software on more than one occasion.
