If you put an item in a dropper and drop it, it will act as if it was dropped by a player, which means there will be a delay between the moment the item is shot and the moment it becomes possible to get it.
Steps to reproduce :
-Place an item in a dropper
-Power the dropper
-Pick up the item.

Well this behaviour
-is different from the PC/console edition.
-makes the game a bit worse, because nodoby wants to wait for an item.
-isn't useful at all for redstone contraptions.
If the devs want to achieve feature parity or/and make the game as good as possible, I don't see why they would consider this intended behaviour.

Sorry I misread the description. I thought you were saying that the dropper dropping the item was the bug.
This problem is still present in version 0.16.2. Building AFK cobblestone or snowballs generators than works with droppers and realize that they are not working properly is disappointing.

Works as Intended
