Snow, either manually placed or generated by snowfall, doesn't melt at daytime and keeps pilling up.
This causes snowy biomes to become unlivable after some snow storms as the snow gets too high to traverse after a few days in.
Affects both single player worlds and realms.
Steps to Reproduce:
Go to a snowy biome (default seed "snow village" used);
Let snow fall for some days or manually place snow blocks/layers;
Wait for daytime or "/time set 0";
Wait a reasonable amount of time for snow to melt.
Observed Results:
Snow won't melt with time.
Expected Results:
Snow should slowly melt with time.
