Steps to reproduce
Load
Kill the villagers.
Spawn 2 new villagers.
Set time to night.
Expected result
Villagers cannot enter the beds because there is no way to path into them and the beds themselves are enclosed in full blocks, so the villagers should stay where the are on the ground.
Observed result
Villagers clip through the corners where solid blocks meet and enter the beds. The villager in the raised bed also exits in a position where it can no longer path the the spot where it entered the bed from.
At night/morning villagers sometimes will teleport to their beds and suffocate when there isn't enough space above them.Β Sometimes they glitch through walls/ceilings and have died in lava in my iron farms.
Β It seems to be when there is just one block between the villager and the bed.Β If you add a second layer of wall they don't seem to teleport through, so far.

How does your farm look inside? Can you show any screenshots of it in relation to where the lava is?
I attached some pics. There's the lava, a block, the beds, another block, then the villagers. They're able to go through the blocks into the bed (sometimes)
Also above the blocks above the bed is a water stream so they may be going into the water stream then into the lava rather than directly into the lava. I haven't tested this yet to know for sure.
This effects player bed use too. Maybe not as bad, but I've skipped to dawn an was somehow sharing cords with Shulker Boxes and Chests.
Is this still an issue in the latest version? If yes, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter)?

Based on the screenshots, the villagers should be exiting the beds on top of the blocks on top of the beds. That is intentional behavior for bed exiting to prevent them exiting inside of solid blocks, since the beds here are embedded in solid blocks. The video confirms that they are exiting above the solid blocks in the water stream and getting killed in lava.
The bug or unintuitive behavior here is that the villagers can enter the beds through the corner between solid blocks. You can regularly observe villagers do this in most savannah villages. Their ability to enter a bed seems to be based simply on proximity (about 1 block horizontal and vertical from the edge of their bounding box) and not on their ability to path into it.
