I AFKed at my raid farm for about an hour without getting bad omen once. I tried afking without the trident killer on and when I checked on the pillagers there, there were about twenty of them and none had banners. After, I went into a creative testing world, and not only did they not spawn with banners when I specifically summoned a captain/patrol leader, but they did not give off the bad omen effect when killed in survival. I had no idea this is a thing, and now my raid farm is practically useless until this is fixed.

The world is set to hard difficulty. Also, I do not use cheats in my worlds, so mob grieving is set to true. Could there be anything else that’s messing it up for me? B/c this is happening in all of my worlds
My word is doing the same thing and not spawning the captain.
I have set the world to easy logged off and killed the app logged back on set to hard logged off kill the app logged back on set to normal kills the app logged back on. Each time I was logged in for 2h running no captains spawned. I even copied the world and did the same process to see if the updated world was the problem. Still nothing.

What difficulty is the world set to?
Also, I know this might be a strange question, but is gamerule mobGriefing set to true or false? (you can check this by simply typing /gamerule mobGriefing)
