On the XBOX One platform, I have a saved world that is approximately 1.5 years old.
With the most recent updates (the one just before 1.17.34), I experience a consistent, total silent crash after starting the game and waiting for one minute.
Ordinarily I wouldn't care but I've invested a lot in this world.
Also, I am a former software test manager who worked at Microsoft. So if there's anything special or more technical you'd like me to do to help you track down this issue, I may be of assistance. Feel free to reach out to me directly. I'm in the Redmond area just north of the Main Campus.

Hello Jay. Thank you for your response. This world is almost 500 MB so this is a challenging situation. I currently do not have any Realm subscription and hadn't intended to purchase one.
Since this is only on XBOX right now, is it possible for me to have a temporary Realm so I can upload the saved world and then we can deactivate the Realm after you've finished downloading it?

I'm going through the same problem, I've had this map since 2015, and since the last update, these constant crashes that you mentioned have been happening. I had the idea of creating a realm, but to no avail, and to make matters worse, every time I download the map backup, the game closes, I've tested it on xbox, android and win10. I forgot, I think it's important to mention that the weight of the map increases exponentially without making any kind of change, my map weighed 119mb and then went to 190mb, however, after leveling it to the realm, it went to 790mb

If you have a copy of the world available, you might like to upload a copy of it for investigation.
On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)
If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.
