My daughters and I can't play together. The android version and Windows/Microsoft versions are supposed to be compatible from what I understand. Why can't we play together? I've tried everything I can think of or find online. It won't give me the option to join their worlds and, when they try to join mine, they get the message in the attachment. I have the Microsoft version and my daughters have the android version. One of my daughters and I were able to play together briefly when I bought the games but not without significant difficulty. Now we can't play Minecraft together at all.

Yes, I checked and rechecked their Microsoft account permissions. I just keep getting the same nonsensical error message. There is nothing wrong as far as I can tell.

Thank you. The issue does seem to have been resolved through no action of my own. Finally, I can play with them again.
We are all on the same Minecraft version and they have identical devices so I am having trouble understanding why one of them is having an issue and not the other.

Have you tried checking the parental controls / permissions on her Microsoft account? I had the same issue until. I changed my sons permissions to enable to accept friend requests / invites. Then, I logged into Minecraft and sent a friend request to my son. Then logged into his account and accepted request. Then, open Minecraft, make sure your world is set to accept friends, or friends of friends, then 'send invite to friend'. Then they log into Minecraft and accept invite to world, and then select 'join world's. It's a real headache, but this worked for me. Good luck, there's no good tutorials or info on any Minecraft or Microsoft information platforms so it does take a bit of fiddling about.
