Hi,
Minecraft Bedrock became completely unplayable today. It started lagging yesterday, but now it takes over 20 minutes to load resources and even longer to save the game when I exit. (Only one of my resource packs is not a Minecraft default, and it has worked fine for the last two months.)
As for gameplay, there is severe lag continuously. Sound effects are late, blocks mined disappear then reappear. It's constant and horrendous.
I will also note that the size of the file on the Worlds menu keeps bouncing from 236Mb (what it was normally) all the way up to 500Mb earlier today, and is now at a staggering 1.4Gb. What on Earth is going on?
Please sort this as soon as possible.
Thx,
UpTheDubsGuy

I removed the four most recent *.ldb files from my world's db folder. I opened my world, and everything seems to be fine. It only took 2-3 minutes to load resource packs, and all of my old and recent builds are there. I quit and saved, and it took just a short time. As well, the file size remained where it was roughly, at 234Mb.
I then reopened my world to see if it was okay. Everything seems to be there, but it is completely unplayable. The lag is humongous. Forward movement is so jerky, I've no ability to guess when I need to jump to climb. I can't even open an iron door to get inside my base; the button stays depressed, and the door does nothing. The entire experience is dreadful.
Finally, it took 15 minutes to save, and the file size has now grown to 249Mb for no apparent reason. I can't play anymore.
Please help.
I went into an older, Creative world. It seems to have no issues. I also created a brand new Survival world. It has no lag issues, either. Something has corrupted my main world to make it unplayable. Please help me save my investment. Thx.

I reopened my world, and only about six chunks were visible (the visible world was rectangular-ish). Everything surrounding the immediate area where I was when I closed the world was void. I've spent months on this world, so you can imagine how gutted I was. I closed it and tried to open it again and saw that its size had grown to 2.5Gb! It took over 30 minutes to load the resource packs and then it crashed my entire PC.
My world has given me zero problems up until now. The only thing I've done yesterday/today, so it may be related, is I joined my friend's world to play Terra Swoop Force yesterday afternoon. I downloaded the resource packs I was required to in order to play. When we finished, my friend closed his world, and I got the normal disconnected message. I then went into my world, and started noticing lag issues (late sounds and block updates). It worked, but it was annoying. Today, however, everything got so much worse until now, it is completely unplayable.
Please help!
