This is more than likely because Java is a different version than Bedrock.

Can confirm in 26.0. Additional different biome names in Java Edition

Bedrock name biome → Java name biome

mushroom_island → mushroom_fields
swampland → swamp
hell → nether_wastes
roofed_forest → dark_forest
cold_taiga → snowy_taiga
ice_plains_spikes → ice_spikes
mesa → badlands
