Steps to reproduce:
Open
Die to see spawn point
/Kill @e [type = player]
Expected results:
The spawn point remains the same. In the given world, the generation point is 128 ? 128
Observed results:
the spawn point changed.
Note:
If the world has become infinite before entering, the same generation point will continue to be preserved.

Having the same problem. The spawn (and so the world within it) is shifted. It shifts consistently depending on the seed used. Sometimes on only on a single axis, sometimes on both x and y, and sometimes it doesn’t shift at all. Hope this helps!

The solution I would propose is that the old worlds use the mechanics of 1.16.221 since this problem does not occur in that version
