I've noticed a lot when updating to a new beta, a world from a previous beta will corrupt, causing strange biome borders, floating flowers, huge cliffs, and no seamless transition between old and new generation.
It would be nice if this was checked before releasing betas to the public just by making sure a world form an earlier version doesn't have problems updating.
