Steps to reproduce
Create an infinte world (not flat)
Be near 0, Y, 0 (possibly within render distance)
/summon chest_minecart
/setblock ~~~ chest
Try to view the chest_minecart inventory.
Try to open the chest.
Try to open the player inventory.
Expected result
You can view all inventories.
Observed results
None of the inventories open. If this does not happen with a particular chest_minecart, you can usually get it to happen by trying a chest_minecart closer to 0, Y, 0 or by increasing render distance. The problem resolves if you save & quit then reload the world.
I came across abandon mineshaft and found a minecart with chest, tried to open it and didn’t open, then I tried to open my inventory and my inventory didn’t open, something I can’t really show in video, so I had to restart world and inventory opens but you can’t open the minecart with chest. It will keep repeating over and over again if you try and open minecart with chest.

In 1.18.0 (bedrock edition) this same issue happened to me with hopper minecarts. It resolved when I broke the hopper minecart. Relogging did not fix it, neither did loading the world from single player (on PC) into a realm and then opening the world on the Xbox Series X
