[MCPE-150190] New Terrain doesn't generate under world converted from console edition

when i updated my long term survival world (since old xbox one addition-better together till now) when 1.18 dropped i mined down to see new terrain just to be met with a soled bedrock layer, the world has experimental enabled but i also have a backup where i don't and it dose the same

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If yes, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter)?
