Redstone wire goes through corner of target block, bell, and lectern visually, but cannot transmit redstone power

Visual glitch when a target, bell, or lectern is placed over redstone going up a block, the redstone stays going up the block when it shouldn't.

I decided this was visual because when the redstone is powered on one part of the circuit and but the other isn't.
