Block geometry stops working outside of 1x1x1 boundary

The geometry feature of Minecraft Blocks is broken, it can only be in a 1x1x1 block area, if it goes outside, it breaks As an example, here's a block that fits in a 3x2x1 area. It had previously been working until the update, is there anything I've done wrong? Holiday features

Can confirm, before 1.18.10 blocks above 1x1x1 boundary was handled as a warning and worked fine, right now they're broken and shows in Creator logs as error.

I've uploaded my pack which is affected by this and screenshots from game.

I'm also not sure it's intentional or not, because the changelog didn't mentioned this change at all.

Please be more specific about what you mean by "breaks"? Does the block itself just "break" when placed, dropping as an item? Or do you mean something else?

The block no longer has its geometry as seen in the image

Thats what i mean by breaks

Please use a more specific summary that briefly states a problem. A summary like "Minecraft Block Geometry" does not help to distinguish this issue from others.

The screenshots provide just appear to show normal blocks. What is expected to happen?

I have fixed the issue, there was an issue with my coding, thanks for your help anyway!

This is due to the name change of the block_light_absorption component. It registers as invalid and "breaks" the block

Thanks for letting us know. In the future I would recommend "fixing" any warnings that appear.
