I went into my Mojang minecraft folder where maps are supposed to be saved. [{*}%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds]{*} There was not even a folder called saves. But this is supposed to be where my map pictures are saved. The pictures of my maps are not saving to my computer. How can I fix this problem?

I have minecraft education edition for windows 10. I have it on multi player. I got 1.17.34 still on it, but it never saved my map pictures. I couldn't find 1.17, so I had to make the report with 1.18. When you make a map or locator map of an area in one of your worlds, it's supposed to save. If you have 4 maps of an area you should map 1, map 2, map 3, and map 4. If you make several maps there should be many of them on your computer in saves in the world folder.
Where did you find information that maps are supposed to be saved as pictures? I couldn't find any such info anywhere (i.e. it isn't mentioned on official Wiki AFAIK).
Is this still an issue in the latest version? If yes, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter)?

I have seen people able to make thier own pictures in minecraft by maping a map of any area in thier minecraft world and then going into saves on the computer where the thier pictures of maps are saved such as map1, map2, map3, and they can replace it with any image for thier minecraft world. Many people have done it but my computer don't seem to save pictures of maps when I make one.
