When I open Minecraft I have my charater and I chose a skin from the starwars skin pack. Even though I have choosen the character Cara Dune, my user name, (AlexisWindsong) should be shown above her head. Why does it show the skin pack character name?

I have tried logging out and logging back in. I am not about to delete minecraft and reinstal it. That will not solve the issue cause I have read things on Redit and online that this did not help either. 

Any other suggestions? I'm on Windows PC Bedrock edition. I also have Xbox installed on my computer and I am signed into my account. 

Where can I get ressource pack to help in bedrock? I mean without optifine. 

No this is Minecraft education version on Windows PC, 1.20. This is what happened. None of the paintings with the gold color frames are there anymore. This is not a mod, this was new paintings that were added in 1.19

like the crocodile and the peach painting with a palm tree.

I have seen people able to make thier own pictures in minecraft by maping a map of any area in thier minecraft world and then going into saves on the computer where the thier pictures of maps are saved such as map1, map2, map3, and they can replace it with any image for thier minecraft world. Many people have done it but my computer don't seem to save pictures of maps when I make one. 

It's been a few weeks, can someone help me with this?

I have minecraft education edition for windows 10. I have it on multi player. I got 1.17.34 still on it, but it never saved my map pictures. I couldn't find 1.17, so I had to make the report with 1.18. When you make a map or locator map of an area in one of your worlds, it's supposed to save. If you have 4 maps of an area you should map 1, map 2,  map 3, and map 4. If you make several maps there should be many of them on your computer in saves in the world folder. 

I just wanted to say Thank you so much. That was so fast with the new update. I also wanted the peoples who come to check this, who haven't received their update to know what to do. If you have Windows 10 PC version Bedrock v 1.16.2, sometimes the updates don't happen automatically. You got to open up microsoft store, then sign in with the same account you used to buy minecraft. Then search: minecraft. Go through the selection of minecraft games and Click on the one you bought, it should say insatalled. Then near the, Play now button, there are three dots ( . . . ) Click on it, and the click on updates. It might take a few minutes. If you did and nothing happened. Seriously, Just wait. It will start downloading. It should be about 25MB or so. You can even do it with minecraft open, but the game will restart itself. And there you go, you'll be able to see your paintings. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

any chances there is an update yet ready for this problem? I would like to use my paintings. 

could there be a way we can fix it in the files at home ourselves? I'm not at home right now, but when I get home later I will try to restart the computer to see if it works. perhaps if I set my computer back to a few days before the new update? would that help? Is there a code in a file that I could fix manually myself? I just love my minecraft and working on something big and amazing. I would like to see if Mojang could make copies and allow the world to experience in what I'm making. I'm far from done with it and have been working for months.  

The issue happened with my while playing. It made me think that deleting some mods I don't need might have been the problem. It happened to me when I installed a new mod and deleted some that were not working anyway to make some more room. Could this have been the problem? But I don't think so cause it did an update this morning while I was playing, so I think it's the new update that happened to my minecraft this morning. Can you solve this issue? I am working hard on my minecraft world and I need my pictures. I paid to play this game and also bought the world I'm working in with minecoins, so can you fix this issue? 

Hello I was wondering if you can help me out on as issue. I am experiencing disappearing pictures on my minecraft. I'm on windows 10, PC bedrock, education edition. I think it's like 1.16.201 so it says.

I just signed up here so I didn't duplicate my question. plus its not the same verion either. I'm mentioning the porblem with a different version. I would like to know how to fix the issue with disappearing pictures.
