Before the hotfix was pushed out, I placed End Crystals inside the spheres of glass, and they remained embedded inside the glass display cases. After the hotfix, and I returned to the chunk in question, I discovered that all my End crystals had escaped their cases, in the same direction (+x) and are now exposed. The display case method was the xisumavoid method, where the crystal is placed on obsidian, then the obsidian is removed and glass pushed into the same space as the crystal.
