:info: The Bug
Bows, Tridents, Crossbows, Spyglasses and Shields makes different, wrong view bobbing breathing animations while held in first person view.
-> To reproduce
Pick them with view bobbing on at first person view, and any other item (for exemple, a diamond sword)
look and compare how the standby bob animation happens with items and the sword.
❌ While they go up and down on a not very smooth movement, the sword makes a way more clean and good standby animation.
The video was recorded in 1.18.12, but i can confirm it also affects betas by playing on MC pocket edition.

Yes, it is about the breathing, not the view bobbing. Breathing is the animation that plays in the items when you are not moving at all.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.

This report is about the breathing animation, isn't it? Not the view bobbing animation? I.e. the animation that was added to fix MCPE-125853.
To me it looks like the sword goes up and down, while the other mentioned items go in and out. The axis of movement is wrong.
