Me and my friend we going to enter the nether so we went to 1 of our 2 portals. It didn't work. We tried the portal we build before. Same problem. It wouldn't take us to the nether.
In fact, it did nothing. We tried building a new one and that one didn't work as well.
Edit: In another world the nether works fine so I don't know why this world is bugged
Second Edit: It is not mods. The other world also has mods.

I have had a look. I dont have a parrot. Also, I went into another world to check if it was the world or Minecraft. In the other world the nether works fine.
I have the same bug. When I exit the portal, the player stops interacting with the world in any way. And the world itself seems to stop, mobs are standing still, and new chunks are not loaded

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If yes, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter)? Also, can you please attach the world in which you are experiencing this issue?
