Allays don't pick up scaffolding blocks that broke themselves by destroying a tower they were connected to.
How to reproduce: Build a tower of scaffolding and destroy the bottom block so the tower collapses. The Allay only picks up the one block that you manually broke and ignores the other ones that fell down completely.
Shouldn't the Allay pick up all the scaffolding blocks?

It doesn't seem to happen every single time but I've been able to reproduce it multiple times in different worlds now and the Allay would just completely ignore the scaffolding on the ground. Even after minutes it wouldn't go to pick it up and it was near the blocks all the time. (I added a clip too)
Are you sure that the allay is not already holding nearly a full stack? They only have 1 inventory slot, so can only pick up 64 of any item besides what they are holding in-hand.
The allay in the clip was freshly spawned and the ones in my survival world where i noticed it first didn't pick up any scaffolding before either. So there is no way they are holding 64 items. Also if they were holding that much scaffolding shouldn't they just drop it to me then? I can repeat the build and break tower thing over and over and they keep only bringing me the one bottom block that I break. It doesn't happen all the time but once they are "glitched" they start to ignore items on the ground and just hover around aimlessly. Just repeat the tower thing a couple times and eventually they start ignoring items. And I never place more than a couple scaffolding to begin with so their inventory can't be full.
I initially wanted to use an Allay to return scaffolding to me while I'm building things so I don't have to pick it up manually. It worked at first but after 2 minutes or so it began to ignore the blocks and hovered around doing nothing for the rest of the time. And it probably only picked up about 20 blocks max before it went into ignore mode.
For me it started picking up the chain-broken scaffolding and leaving behind the one I broke directly, and only after the second time I broke a tower.
For me it has always been only the manually broken block they return. They are showing some strange behaviour with scaffolding and I don't think it is supposed to be like that.
Can't reproduce.
