Collecting fish/axolotl with an empty bucket causes them to disappear

Collecting any type of fish (tested with tropical fish, cod, tadpoles, and an axolotl by accident) with an empty bucket causes them to disappear instead of nothing happening. It also causes a bucket to be removed from the stack (if the bucket is stacked) You can however collect it with a water bucket, as shown in the video clip below.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new world with the seed -8365520427056912195

  2. Get an empty bucket (NOT a water bucket)

  3. Attempt to collect a fish using the empty bucket

Expected Result:
Nothing happens (you can't collect fish with an empty bucket)

Observed Result:
Fish disappears with sound of water being picked up and a bucket will be removed from the stack (unless there is only one bucket, in which case it won't disappear)

It is intended that you cannot collect fish with an Empty Bucket (MCPE-135268).
However, it is (probably) not intended that the fish disappear when trying to collect them.

Edited, thanks for mentioning that.

I could not reproduce the issue, does it still occur in 1.19.62?

My duplicate issue was presented without bucket disappearing in 1.20.51

I cannot reproduce this issue in 1.20.62. Does it occur in vanilla worlds, or only with addons?

This only affects worlds created with certain seeds.

It also does this on seed 12345 on the latest version of bedrock edition. I found that there is another bug that arises from this. If you have 16 empty buckets, then collect a fish/axolotl, the stack of buckets will duplicate on these specific seeds.
