Breaking painting doesn't drop a painting

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make Painting in crafting table
2. Place painting in desired location
3. Break painting to change the image on said painting

Observed Results:
Item breaks/disappears instead of dropping the item
Expected Results:
Painting would drop on ground to pick back up to place again to find desired painting image

Are you experiencing this issue in Survival mode or in Creative mode? This is an expected behavior in Creative mode.

This is an issue AGAIN in 1.19.62.  Observed today on Xbox Bedrock edition, 1.19.62.  Crafter two paintings, placed them, broke them to change the image - both items vanished instead of dropping a painting. 😞
