Foxes losing trust

I had 4 foxes that I bred myself, and they trusted me up until recently. They no longer trust me, and run away from me when I approach them. I am playing on a Realms 2 player subscription. The foxes are named. Two of them are arctic foxes, and two are red. I have resource packs enabled (only textures are changed). Cheats have never been enabled in the world.

I haven't been paying much attention to the foxes over the last few days, and it's possible that the issue may have been present before today (I noticed it today). I suspect that the Foxes may have lost their trust when the world was uploaded to the Realms server (I purchased the server two or three days ago, and uploaded an existing world to the server rather than creating a new world).

Edit: It turns out that on other worlds when moving them between a dedicated server and/or realm foxes have lost trust then as well. I haven't checked in a while but from what I recall I think my wolves lost trust too (almost as if my player uuid changed or something). My friend was playing on the world with me and from what I remember his pets did not lose trust. So, to sum it up, my pets appear to lose trust in me when I move a world between a server, realm, or my local computer, and it does not happen to my friend.

Does it only happen on one specific world? Could you please export it and add it here in attachments, or on any shareable site and add link to it in the comments or update description?

I would prefer not to upload any worlds unless absolutely necessary as there is some form of personal information in most of them.

I also had a mod that added Pikmin into the game, and the pikmin's onions act like pets in that you can tell them to stay, follow, etc. The onions also lost trust (this is in a different world that does have cheats on, so I just summoned new onions and killed the old ones. Also, I have preserved a copy of the original world from when I first opened this issue (in the main version I have since resorted to killing the foxes and breeding new ones). In addition, in the world with said onions I also have a mod that makes foxes fully tameable. Those foxes also lost trust at the same time that the onions did.

Could you then add the Pikmin mod pack to your report? We will see, if the Pikmin is the reason of your issue.

What I meant by the Pikmin mod was that it was on one of my worlds that had the problem. There were others without the Pikmin mod that still had the problem.

Did you loose any other player data, for example items from inventory?

I don't recall my wolves losing trust like the foxes did. However yes, now that I think about it, whenever I move one of my worlds between a server or realms I seem to lose all of the items in my inventory (my friends do not lose theirs), so I always to put them in a chest or something before the move. When I lose my items, sometimes I also get a map (when I created the world I set the starting map setting to on). I'm not sure what's going on. Also, when I move a world from a dedicated server to my local worlds, I don't seem to lose my items, but when I open the world my character is in the state it was when I originally put the world on the server, as they have no items (because I had put my items in a chest before I put the world on the server). I am also in the same position as I was when I initially moved the world to the server.

TL;DR When I move a world between a server/realm and local worlds sometimes all foxes and other animals lose trust in all players, and sometimes I lose my items. So yes.

Should I open a new issue since it turns out this seems to extend beyond foxes?

Also, I have since cancelled my realms subscription as I figured out how to make a dedicated server myself, so I can't do any testing on realms right now.

It sounds like you experienced the issue described at MCPE-164765, which is now fixed. I am going to resolve this report as a duplicate.
