Are you using any behavior packs? If yes, does turning them off help?

Yes i have behaviour and ressource Packs turned on, i also have every Experimental Feature turned on, but when i create a New World without These enabled, the problem still appears as soon as i join the world

Does the issue occur without experimental toggles enabled? If not, which one causes the menu to appear?

I can't Replikate it somehow, i Turned the experimental Features on one by one but it doesn't appear

It only seems to effect Worlds created during 1.19.60/1.19.50

It occurs when you have all the experimental Features turned on and activate a ressource/behaviour pack

I do not have experimental features enabled. However I did have a resource pack enabled. When I turned off the resource pack, the control customization ui went away. Hopefully this helps narrow down the problem a bit.

I had the same issue on my son's Android tablet after upgrading to 1.19.70, select control customization shows up (which goes away if you use a game controller), but then the UI disappears.

My son had this "Factory Machinery" pack enabled / active (it was the only non-default one that was active). I was able to "fix" the problem by disabling this "Factory Machinery" pack. The control customization dialog no longer pops up and the UI is working again.

I hope that helps anyone with the same issue.

In the brief summary I disclosed some details, the control customization window appeared after the update, the current one is number 1.19.70, after updating my account and then entering the server to be able to play, the window "you We welcome customization of controls".

● When that window came out, I tried to remove it because I didn't know the function of said tab, investigate, that you had to touch any drag or configuration option, it doesn't work, the window tab is not selected, whether it's the one to drag or in configuration, in terms few will not remove the window when doing that.
● In the following case, it is removed but be careful when removing it, how is it removed? By tapping several times on the "Let's go" option, if the "welcome to customization controls" window is removed. but doing that hides: □ Inventory □ Hearts or life bar □ Food bar when you're hungry.
● I looked for a lot of means and nothing works, I would like you to review this error, since it prevents me from playing, it does not let me see clearly where I am standing since this window is there.

Multiple people I know are having the same issue. It seems to occur anywhere. People have had it occur in Realms and in personal worlds, with or without addons. Clicking the Let's Go button gets rid of the HUD, or does nothing. Turning on Hide HUD in the settings gets rid of the popup, but it also hides the rest of the HUD as intended. Here are some pictures of people having the problem.

Platforms it has been occurring on: Windows 11, iOS, PS4, PS5, probably more? Those are the only ones I have been specifically given.

Upon further questioning, it seems as if most of the time, the issue is caused by some form of addons or experimental toggles being on the world or Realm. It can still happen otherwise, but the most common way for it to happen is with addons.
A kind person has created a fix for this issue with this resource pack, so while we are waiting for this issue to be fixed, feel free to use these.

This issue appears to be caused specifically by resource/behavior packs, not by experimental toggles or Education Edition. Does the issue persist when resource/behavior packs are disabled?

@Bartłomiej Słodkowski I've tested your theory and you're somewhat right. However, it's only some certain packs that cause issues and others do not for some reason. The packs that cause the issues probably have something in their files that causes this. And yes, this issue is guaranteed to not occur when all packs are off from what I can see so far.

My partner and I are both on PC and this pop up showed up. We couldn't get rid of it without our hotbar and stuff completely disappearing as well. I'm not using any resource packs on the world we're using either. I don't know what is going on but it's making my game completely unplayable.

Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been closed as Won't Fix.

Feedback from the team investigating this issue is that the problem is related to add-on packs being used which cause the incorrect UI to appear. As a workaround for add-on creators, taking an updated version of the hud_screen.json from the Vanilla resource pack (https://github.com/Mojang/bedrock-samples) and adding changes to that should fix the issue.
