WHY is the Switch version of Minecraft the only version of Minecraft without LAN server access?
I have a LAN bedrock server so WHY cant I join it? The PS4 and PC can join and play but the Switch cant for some unknown reason.
EVERYTHING is updated. I have to keep updating the server to keep with the Minecraft clients versions as it keep breaking saying "server too old" so EVERYTHING is updated.
Ive been waiting for ages for Switch to get LAN Server support since the last time I enquired which was probably when the Switch bedrock version came out. Its been a long time and back then you never gave a reason, you just abused me and ignored the question.
So, again, WHY does the Switch version NOT have LAN server support? And are you going to add it soon?
I have a big job on my server I want finished and want to do it on the Switch. More battery life and I can sit on the couch instead of on the PS4 in front of the big TV.

On other consoles there is a "LAN games" list
On the switch its not there.
Easy as that. Its not there and it needs to be there.
At the current state of the game, LAN on Switch is not supported and there are no further plans for it to be available. If this changes, we can reopen, as for now closing as feature request.

So you DO have official servers on the Switch version. You have what is it 6 servers there at the end.
So you can use the official servers but not your own?
That makes no sense.
So you DO support servers but refuse us to connect to our own servers.
There is a hack which we can connect to our own servers but it doesn't save your progress thats why I dont do that but on all other consoles you can connect directly to the server and its all good. The work is done on the server so why deny the Switch access to our servers?
I never use the official servers as they are full of idiots. I prefer to work on my own server where I can build and do what I want where on the official server you cant do that, its all locked down.
it makes absolutely no sense why you refuse to give us server access when its got proof right there you can access servers but refuse to allow our servers which is from your site. The server software is from your website so its the official software for minecraft servers.
So again, it makes no sense you blocking your own software on the switch version.
And you want a bug, WHY can I see friends if I search for them but cant join them? There is no join button just "friend is playing minecraft on ps4"
