After my Minecraft on the Switch was updated to 1.19.71, I was unable to join any online servers - it would just tell me that I was unable to connect to the world after loading for a while. Occasionally while trying, I was able to load into a server for about half a second before being disconnected and shown an error message. This issue is not happening with my creative worlds, only the online/ multiplayer servers in the server list.
I have already tried restarting the Switch and Minecraft multiple times, as well as switching to airplane mode/ restarting. It can load the current ping levels fine and everything it just won't let me connect to any online servers.

Featured servers as well as hosted ones (aternos, minehut servers) none of the servers work - not in any realms so haven't tried them
This happened on my switch with 1.19.6. It was fixed with the most recent hotfix the other day. But now, with 1.19.71 I can’t join servers again. These are bedrock dedicated sponsored servers (like Cube Craft and Galaxite).
Have you tried doing a power cycle/full reset of the Switch?
I am able to join featured servers on Switch.
Yes I've tried that but it's still an issue, although now I can join bedrock featured servers; still no way to join servers hosted by other players
Resolving temporarily as Awaiting Response. Is this still an issue in the latest version of the game?

Resolving as a duplicate of MCPE-168661.
Im trying to join my own server. All other consoles can join but not the switch it cant even see it.
You do have featured servers so you do have server support so why not own own servers on the switch?
And where is Minecraft on the Steam Deck?
I liked playing Minecraft on a portable system but you deny the swtch access to my server and you dont have it on the Steam Deck so its full consoles or PC only.
Its a small game so why the locked up switch version and where is the linux version so it'll play on the Steam Deck? Maybe put it on Steam and let Proton do the Linus port.
What specific kind of "servers" are you trying to join? (Featured, Realm, hosted by other players, etc)?
