Im trying to join my own server. All other consoles can join but not the switch it cant even see it.
You do have featured servers so you do have server support so why not own own servers on the switch?

And where is Minecraft on the Steam Deck?
I liked playing Minecraft on a portable system but you deny the swtch access to my server and you dont have it on the Steam Deck so its full consoles or PC only.
Its a small game so why the locked up switch version and where is the linux version so it'll play on the Steam Deck? Maybe put it on Steam and let Proton do the Linus port.

[MCQA] v-magwar your reply is stupid.

So you DO have official servers on the Switch version. You have what is it 6 servers there at the end.

So you can use the official servers but not your own?
That makes no sense.

So you DO support servers but refuse us to connect to our own servers.

There is a hack which we can connect to our own servers but it doesn't save your progress thats why I dont do that but on all other consoles you can connect directly to the server and its all good. The work is done on the server so why deny the Switch access to our servers?

I never use the official servers as they are full of idiots. I prefer to work on my own server where I  can build and do what I want where on the official server you cant do that, its all locked down.

it makes absolutely no sense why you refuse to give us server access when its got proof right there you can access servers but refuse to allow our servers which is from your site. The server software is from your website so its the official software for minecraft servers.
So again, it makes no sense you blocking your own software on the switch version.

It IS a bug and Im reporting it so this IS the place for this.

I just need someone smart who knows whats going on to reply.

I'll try again to make this simple to understand and you can question why?

I downloaded YOUR minecraft bedrock server. (I have 2 versions now)
It was the NAS version (Linux server) I had it on my QNAP NAS.

Now the PC, Xbox, PS4 can all see and access the server no problems.

Now here is the problem.
The Switch cant see it at all.
If a friend is playing on any level the Switch can see and join that friend..... UNLESS they are on that LAN server then they cant see them anymore.

The Switch version like all other versions has a tab, servers. So we know the Switch version CAN connect to servers so why not my local LAN server?

THATS my problem. WHY cant it connect to my local LAN server?

As I said I now have both versions, Linux and Windows. Both set up the same as you can copy/paste the worlds and the PC, Xbox and PS4 can all see the local lan server but the switch still cant see either version.

How is this not confirmed?

Doesnt anyone there have a Switch?

Goto games, the middle tqb "Friends"

On other consoles there is a "LAN games" list

On the switch its not there.

Easy as that. Its not there and it needs to be there.

Well as nothing has changed then YES ITS STILL A PROBLEM.

Anyone?
Its been ages and still no reply?

Nothing has changed. Still cant connect to my local server.

Updated everything to latest version. All clients and server.

On the PS4/Xbox versions under the FRIENDS tab there is a section LAN GAMES.
The Switch version doesn't have LAN GAMES.
The PC version under SERVERS has an option to ADD SERVER.

Thats the problem There is nothing for the Switch version to see or connect to any server.
You NEED to add the LAN GAMES option to the Switch version.

THATS what I'm still waiting for.
WHY is it missing from the Switch version?

If a friend connects to the server on the xbox or ps4, I can connect to their game and I can access the server that way.
The game still plays the same, no problems. So again WHY cant the Switch connect directly and see servers like the other console versions?

And you want a bug, WHY can I see friends if I search for them but cant join them? There is no join button just "friend is playing minecraft on ps4"
