When pushing A or D while sprinting on an x86 Android device/emulator or chromebook education edition, you will stop sprinting even if W is still held. This only seems to affect Intel processors, not AMD or ARM. x86_64 is also affected.
How to reproduce:
Start Minecraft on an x86 Android device/emulator or x86 chromebook (only happens with education version on chromeos)
Start sprinting forward
Press A or D
Observed results:
You cannot sprint while A or D is held
Expected results:
You should be able to sprint while A or D is held
Relates to MCPE-144702, MCPE-121068, and MCPE-117105

I was able to reproduce this on the education edition on chromebook. I have not tried the main version, but assume it is also affected. I can upload a video in a few hours.
This affects Keyboard Input, basically all Android Ports will have this problem.
Emulators, Containers, Native, etc.
Edit: I don't know about iOS Keyboard Input yet (because I dont own an iPad) but 100% an issue in all sorts of Android Ports.
The bug is also present on 1.21.44.01. I am using the unofficial Linux launcher with an Intel CPU.
Edit: I hope that this issue is going to be resolved because, as pointed out in a previous comment, it has a negative impact on certain aspects of the game.
To those who needed it a very long time ago until now… an old friend of mine gave me this solution for Unofficial Linux Launcher (Flatpak) for x86-64 machines, via Messenger. Finally!
Inside the Minecraft Bedrock Launcher has the ability to install external mods specifically for the launcher only, and not the MCBE game itself. Here is the mod. It’s a temporary solution but this should help for now.
The instructions should be in the GitHub page. Hope this helps! 😄
Can you upload a video of the issue?
Also, does this ONLY affect emulated game or were you able to reproduce on a true Chromebook device?
