Maps incorrectly placed in player's hands and not moving simultaneously with the hands

This bug is visual in both survival and creative. Whenever I place a map in the character's hands without having anything on the off hand, the map is visually incorrectly placed and it is not moving simultaneously with the hands as in Java or Old Minecraft Console edition.

However, when I put the map in off hand or in the right hand the exact same moving issue happens. The map is not moving simultaneously as the hand.

Also when punching while having the map in one hand, the hand seems to glitch through the map slightly, where as in Java or Old Minecraft Console Edition this issue doesn't happen
