STEVE head will not play any sound on note block

Placing a HEAD on a note block will not play any sound when the note block is hit or powered with redstone.

In creative, I placed a Steve head (just called HEAD in the creative item list) on a note block. It will not play nay sound. I tried hitting the noteblock and powering it with a button and a redstone block. No sound at all. I tested all the other heads and they all worked as expected.
