Since the 1.19 update, I've noticed erratic chunk generation in my world. There are straight snow walls on mountains, hollow spaces in the oceans, "squares" of forests on rivers, and lighting errors. These issues seem to appear out of nowhere, since these places were already generated normally before. What's happening in my world?

Is this still occurring in the latest release?
To add to GoldenHelmet's previous comment: were the affected chunks loaded or unloaded before they were overwritten? Did you ever interact with any of these chunks by e.g. placing or breaking any blocks?
This is a long shot, but if you have an active subscription of Realms, could you please attach a copy of the affected world?
Hello!
Answering the question, the affected chunks had already been loaded, which is why I knew something was wrong... But because I was using elytra I never stepped on them, or removed/placed any blocks.
However, in fact, the problem apparently must have been resolved... The lighting errors in the first attachment no longer occur, and when I go to a new place the chunks are normal...Thanks.
But what's done seems to be done, anyway, I had to manually fix the affected chunks in the terrain around my base. :-/
So... As long as these map errors don't happen again... Thanks for the work and support👍🏽
Thanks for the response, I'm glad the issue was able to resolve itself.
Additionally, from your description and the media files you've attached, it sounds like you might've experienced MCPE-149573 MCPE-175332 MCPE-169001 simultaneously.
Chunks (16x16 areas) that you see but do not make any changes to may not be saved, and may be regenerated when visited again. After updates the world generation in the surrounding area can change.
