Taking Random Damage While Moving About World

Since the recent hotfix, I am taking random damage while just walking about the world for no apparent reason (in peaceful, no enemies or animals nearby):

Example 1:  Just walking on flat ground on grass path blocks near my village base

Example 2:  While ascending a ladder that I've gone up a hundred times before without difficulty.

Example 3:  While placing wood blocks for the foundation of a house (again on flat ground, grass blocks)

Example 4:  Running along my nether hub tunnel, again in peaceful and something I've done a hundred times before without taking damage.

bedrock edition do be glitchy, but i'd say it's just lag, sometimes i jump off a cliff, take no damage, then keep walking forward and suddenly die

I doubt it is lag since, in example 4, my nether tunnel is completely enclosed, carpeted and 100% free of any sort of mob.  The walls have no indentations and are, so far, only adorned with torches.  There is one door about halfway down that corridor,b ut it is mounted flush with the inside of the tunnel.  There is no way, in that space, I should have taken any damage regardless of lag - unless the lag itself causes the player to be able to generate damage by running.

However, yesterday I played almost all day and never took any random damage or damage that I could not readily explain.  So, perhaps it is related somehow to my internet connection.  The only other possible difference is that yesterday I was not playing on peaceful mode.

No.  I cannot add a video since I didn't take a capture while it was happening (something I just don't tend to do while playing any game) and I haven't played Minecraft much at all since then (having moved onto other games for now).  I did try to be very detailed in making this report so that others might be able to verify the issue.  However, if I get back to playing Minecraft, if it happens again, and if I remember to take a capture, I'll add it to this report.  Thank you for your response.

Have you encountered this issue since? This may be a long shot, but would it be possible for you to attach a copy of the affected world? Ideally, if you remember, you could give the coordinates to at least one of the areas from the examples you provided.

The only other report remotely similar to what you're describing, that I could find on here, was MCPE-120140, so maybe you could check if that describes what you're experiencing? Although, that bug seems to mostly affect players who are pillaring up, and not on a completely flat surface, like you described.
