Wild Ocelots meow like tamed cats

When you're near wild ocelots they make meowing sounds like tamed cats. This has never happened in previous versions of mcpe.

Just tested this in MC PC. Wild ocelots don't make a meowing sound ever. Only TAMED ocelots make meowing sounds!

This happened to me as well in MCPE, I spawned a wild ocelot on Creative mode and it meowed .

Not sure if it's intentional or not. They recently fixed creepers making idle sounds, but not ocelots (or at least not yet) :/

Appears to be fixed in 1.16.100; ocelots & cats make distinct sounds.
