In many of my worlds, I gave been experiencing lag. The lag is so bad that commands with a ticking delay are delayed for longer than the set delay. This could just be a connection problem but I'm not entirely sure.
Steps to Reproduce:
-Note: As of filling this out, I am the only person that I know of that is affected by this.
1. Set up a command block with a ticking delay
-The longer the set delay, the more noticable it should be.
2. Run the command
Expected Result:
I had used many command blocks but one with a set ticking delay had a delay of 20 ticks.
Observed Result:
That command block ran after more than 20 ticks.
-I couldn't get an exact number mainly because the delay was not extended the same amount each time.

I did not see any prerecorded issues related to this one. It has occurred on many of my infinite and flat worlds. All of those had the setting "Mob Spawning" disabled and most had very few entities so I doubt entity counts is causing this even partially.
It's due to server lag mostly, caused by too many commands executed probably. If Realm is available, it may be helpful to attach that world
Is this still an issue as of 1.21.2? If so, could you attach the affected (zipped) world file? If the file size is too large, please upload it somewhere else and then link to it here.
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)
This issue is being temporarily resolved as Awaiting Response. Once the requested information has been delivered, the report will be reopened automatically.

I am able to test this in the latest version. I plan to test it on my switch as it is the platform I had experienced it on. However there are 3 problems keeping me from attaching any world onto a realm:
I have two realms to my name, but both are expired.
Both realms are hidden for me due to the fact that my nintendo switch online is also expired.
I do not have enough money on the eshop to renew my nintendo switch online or on the eshop, xbox store, or google play store to reopen either realm. (If i had enough on the xbox store to reopen one of my realms, I still couldn't open one due to my xbox online being expired. Also, even if i had enough money on the google play store to reopen one, I'd still need money on the eshop to renew my online subscription to access the realms to attach a world onto it from there.)
This seems to be caused by MCPE-177148, so I'm resolving and linking this ticket forward as a duplicate of that issue. If you would like to add a vote and if you could add any extra information to that ticket it would be appreciated.
Since you are "not the only person experiencing this", it is likely to have already been reported. Do any of the existing reports about "command delay" describe your issue? If so, which one(s)?
If none of the existing reports seem to be the same issue, then does this happen on a brand-new or "flat" world? The lag may be caused by other factors, and if that is the case, we would need to know the cause of the lag and not just the result.
If the issue occurs on new/flat worlds without other causes of lag, please provide the specific commands used along with the method you used to tell if the delay was longer than expected.
Also, your "expected" and "observed" results are the same. These should be both be specific to the commands used (eg, Observed: Delay was actually ... vs Expected: Delay should be ...)
