When a player is near a Nether portal and goes to sleep on a bed, the game teleports the player to the Nether while still in a sleeping state. This issue can cause the player to be displaced inside blocks or be teleported to a high location, resulting in a fall upon waking up.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Nether portal.
2. Place a bed near the Nether portal.
3. Enter the Nether portal and wait for the teleportation process to begin.
4. While in the process of teleportation, quickly go to sleep on the bed.
Expected Result:
If the player attempts to sleep while the Nether portal is in the process of teleporting, the sleep action should be interrupted, preventing any unintended consequences upon waking up.
Observed Result:
After following the steps mentioned, the player gets teleported to the Nether while still sleeping. Upon waking up, the player may find themselves inside blocks or falling from a high location, leading to undesired gameplay experiences.
Note: This bug occurs when the player is in survival mode.
