Lava and Water are not placed correctly

Tested on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920W8), Android 6.0.1 on MCPE 0.15.90.8

To Reproduce:

  1. create a new creative flat world.

  2. make a grid of 1x1x1 holes and fly above and slightly away from them so you have to place the lava or water from a bucket down and in front of the player.

  3. try to place the water or lava into a specific 1x1x1 hole and observe that the location the water or lava appears is likely not the block you tapped.

Note: making the grid of holes isn't necessary, it just shows the problem better. Whatever offset in tap and placement location exists, it's easier to see when placing further away from you than up close.

This video shows the bug. Also worth noting, the empty bucket picks up water and lava correctly.

Possibly this is real bug behind these issues: MCPE-17086 and MCPE-17095

This bug has been reported to our internal bug tracker for further testing and a fix. It is scheduled to be fixed in one of the future updates (no specific date can be provided).

My bug was quoted as a duplicate of this. The video will not load, but if my bug is a duplicate of this, the issue at hand is that the buckets are emptying where the focus would be if in mouse or split controls.

This is still problem in 0.16.1, I would like to see the change log for this latest update instead of just a note saying various bug fixes. This will save us getting our hopes up and then trying out the game just to find the things we have reported are not actually fixed. Thank you.

Still occurs in 1.0.0.0 as well.

Dan dan that's bad news and very disappointing. I'm on IOS so I haven't a chance to test it yet. I was hoping this along with the other bug fixes would sorted out.
