When Starting Minecraft in Windowed mode (not sure if it affects other modes or not) I have no audio. My Audio device is my USB Wireless Headset (Logitech G533 Gaming Headset). If I change my Windows Audio source to the any other audio source and then back to my headset, audio begins playing in my headset. This happens on every start of the game.
Headset Drivers and Firmware up to date.

No, I'm not using Realtek drivers, nor am I using an intel chipset. I don't understand what you're asking about it "addressing my issue".
It's possible that this is an audio driver issue affecting more than just realtek drivers though, as the symptoms are very similar. I'm also able to switch to a different audio device and switch back and my audio kicks back in.
I have the same issue with a bluetooth speaker. I never noticed that changing the audio device back-and-forth after loading Minecraft fixes it. After reading this report, I experimented and found that it is not even necessary to switch to a different device and back, it is sufficient to open the audio device list (by clicking on the Windows volume icon in the system tray) and to select the current device.
The bug probably involves Minecraft misidentifying the audio device as if it were reserved for voice communication only and not set for audio output.
