As we know in Java Edition Crops and redstone tools work outside simulation distance that adds in 1.18 or 1.17 but in Minecraft bedrock anything outside simulation distance will not work even crops won't grow as java edition does, and that's effect farms and every functional farm in bedrock edition and make bedrock edition less funnier game edition and effect gameplay so much, and that identified as parity bug, so it must work in both editions
Crops do not work outside of simulation distance unless you define a ticking area. You can set a ticking area with commands or addons in Bedrock Edition. Java has an automatic ticking area known as “spawn chunks”. This difference is not a valid issue for the bug tracker because it is older than the Buzzy Bees update.
