I can't play if I cannot pick up lava I find it at level 55 not 54 and then it is just a block of lava that doesnt flow and I cannot pick it up. I can chop all the blocks around the lava but it will not flow yet it is suspended in air no blocks all around it. Cannot pick it up even after waiting a long time to pick up with an empty iron bucket

This issue is caused by the way MCPE-100598 was fixed. It looks like the the developers took my first suggestion from my July 20, 2023 comment on that report, and did not reconsider based on my follow-up July 21, 2023 comment. In other words, they made players unable to pick up flowing_water or flowing_lava with buckets, which causes the present issue. (Not only is lava pick up delayed, but water is also, since now water cannot be picked up for 10 ticks after placing unless it is touching other water, while on Java the delay is only 4 or 5 ticks.)
In order to create parity with Java and expected behavior, buckets need to be able to pick up flowing_water and flowing_lava (which Java does not even use), and have a 4 or 5 gt use cooldown for water/lava/flowing_water/flowing_lava, just like they already have with powdered snow and fish/axolotl. The fix should be like the fix for MCPE-44320. If this was done, it would also fix MCPE-43960.
note: It is actually surprising that both MCPE-43960 and MCPE-100598 occurred in the past, because 43960 is just like the present report except for when it happens. You used to be able to pick up flowing_water/flowing_lava immediately after placing, but not when they were created later by block updates around the water/lava. Now you cannot pick up the flowing_ blocks at all, ever.
