I recently built a new gaming PC (i9 14900K, MSI 4080 RTX, etc.) It worked great but since the last update or two (1.20.60s), flying make my CPU's core temperature spike from about 68c-75c to about 82c-103c. This is without shaders or high render distance or behavior packs (add-ons) or anything fancy. Minus a couple instances, crashes occur when flying with Elytra. Eventually, I got a BSOD right after clicking save and quit, which ruined (corrupted) my world by resetting the chunks I was in at BSOD. After reverting to a personal backup, I uploaded the world to a realm to protect it and crashes still occur.

Does MCPE-158937 describe what you're experiencing? There is mention in the comments of that report of it occurring on PC too.
Are you mostly experiencing these crashes whilst generating new terrain/loading in new chunks, or does flying with an elytra, in general, give poor performance? Are you using fireworks to boost your flight speed?
Does this only occur on specific worlds, or do you still crash on newly generated ones?
If possible, could you please attach the world in which you constantly experience crashes?
Additionally to the previously asked questions, do you experience the crashes with flying while in creative, or riding horses/riding a boat/a minecart?
