Just like the bug that was happening in 1.17.1000. This time I could move, but when I right clicked on a block that had a function, nothing happened.
If I save and reopen the game, the item does not come back, it goes back to normal.
The bug did not happen after the second time and did not happen in another world, so I don't know if I can reproduce it, but it could at least happen.
I will tell you as much as I can remember about the situation.
・Placed blocks around the towers
・Placed a chest at the end to store items
・Placed water on the obsidian at spawn point (water stream from above)
・Died at least once at the end
・Broke some of the blocks at the end.
・Broke a block with my bare hands and used the torch in the center to retrieve EnderDragon's egg.
・Passed more than one experience through the gate
・Entered the Return Portal without recovering HP
・Entered without recovering full stomach
・Jumped through the gate while walking
・Pressed the move button during the ending

I was told that this report is a duplicate of MCPE-42310, but I still think mine is different from that.
At the time, after returning from the end, there were no enemy mobs in the area and the lava was sealed off.
I should have done more verification before reporting, sorry about that.
The fact you had 7 levels along with no items indicates that you actually died before the overworld could show on your screen, and then respawned again. Since you were holding the move button, it may be that you walked off a ledge and died of fall damage while the screen was still loading.
We are tracking this issue at MCPE-42310, so I will resolve the report as a duplicate.
