When you create a new world on 1.20.80.23, it does not show up in the new UI.
I created three separate worlds and they all did this (for some stupid reason i deleted them)
Once I restarted the game, this bug seemed to be fixed and I cant't get it back.
Edit: I managed to get it again and got footage of creating a world

I have experienced this in the past, which applies to imported world too. However this issue seems rather inconsistent and I can't find a reliable way to reproduce.
I have no idea how to reproduce this, sorry. Also, for some stupid reason I deleted the affected worlds, although considering it fixed on restart I don't think they would be very useful
When the bug was active I tested creating a new world with the only changed setting being multiplayer off, and it still happened
I managed to reproduce this while checking whether MCPE-179882 was still in 1.20.80.24, (last week i got it doing the exact same thing) but when i tried doing the same thing again it failed
I just experienced this while reproducing MCPE-179882. However I can't reproduce it now with the same setup, which is same as @unknown.
I cannot reproduce this. Has this reoccurred since? Are there any specific experimental toggles you're enabling when creating said worlds, or is every newly created world affected regardless of whether any experimental toggles are active? I mainly want to know whether this is still reproducible on your end.
If you still have a copy of an affected world, it'd be appreciated if you could share it here.
