When you die in hardcore mode, there is a death screen, however, the hardcore mode death screen main button is "Game Menu" instead of "Spectate World". The main button should've been the "Spectate world" as players would most likely go to spectate the world than going straight to game menu.

Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
