Torch models are offset in the inventory by two pixels. The block models placed on the ground are unaffected. This offset is hard-coded, so any resource pack that used the full 16-pixel item height in its torch textures will have items overlapping the edge of slots.
Java Edition does not have this torch offset either, so this is a parity issue.
To Reproduce
1.) Open a world in Creative Mode.
2.) Open the Creative Inventory and search for "Torch".
3.) Observe the torch items.
Expected Result
Torches are aligned like other items, so the bottom of the torch contacts the bottom of the slot. This is how torches look on Java Edition.
Observed Result
Torches are rendered two pixels higher than other items.
