I need some assistance with Minecraft Preview, not syncing all my worlds. I opened a support ticket with Microsoft/Xbox support and was told that all of my data is intact. I was told to contact Mojang support as the issue is with Minecraft not pulling all of the data from the cloud.
Background. This is going back a couple years now. The original Minecraft on Xbox One S (which I can no longer install) is where the issue started. My Xbox had performed an update and when I launched Minecraft, I was missing two worlds.
After approximately 1 ½ years of research and troubleshooting, I read a post where a contributor stated they were able to recover their missing worlds using Minecraft Preview.
I subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and installed Minecraft Preview. When I clicked on Sync Old Worlds, I was able to recover the missing worlds. I was only able to play them in Minecraft Preview, but at least I was successful in recovering them.
A couple months ago I had to do an Xbox reset. This was in attempt to resolve an issue with updating Minecraft (not preview). I was unable to resolve the update issue and now I can not install the original Minecraft.
When I went into Minecraft Preview the Worlds I had recovered and played has disappeared. I do not get an error message. The worlds simple just do not appear.
At the loading of Minecraft Preview I always see the Syncing User Data and it completed successfully, but the worlds I am missing do not appear.
I am not asking for support in recovering corrupted data or worlds, but I am asking for support with an issue with data / game synchronization and missing data.
