At the moment, shelves on the ground look stupid, using a hatch for this looks very strange and looks like a bug, but the developers do not react to this in any way, so I would like to see another implementation of the shelf in the game, or completely remove it and not do it in the game as obvious bug.

Thats the bedrock edition. Why you reported the "bug" on the java tracker. And i dont understand your problem. It is feature not a bug.
