Minecraft using 20+ Gigabytes of ram, and constant frame drops
For the past few days, I have had this reoccuring problem, even after restarting my computer. Minecraft loads up, then starts using 20% ram, then it starts going up 100mb at every few seconds, after I join a world, it goes up a bit more then it starts to drop the frames down to almost 0. I have gotten to 99% ram usage with nothing else open in the foreground on multiple occasions.
I have also found another person on reddit who had the same problem, thier post link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/1cumfw5/bedrock_edition_using_24gb_of_ram_on_pc_insane/
This memory leak makes minecraft unplayable, I have uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled, that didn't change anything. I have put my renderdistance down completely, turned off all video togles, and turned off improved input responce. That didn't do anything.
Atached are the pictures of what has been happening. One is in a completely new flat world that I had just created, still using most of my ram. the other two are servers loaded up with the memory usages in both mb and precentage. This happens on every single world.
It started not too long ago, so I presume it may be related to the update; however, I cannot remember propperly.
My computer specs are:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900HX 2.20 GHz
32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Windows 11 Home
