The issue is that a player of mine is now entering the game as their PSN ID versus their Xbox Gamertag and this is causing issues with some other features we have. I have had them, log in and out of their Microsoft account on PlayStation multiple times, delete and reinstall the game and restart their console to clear its cache and nothing has worked.
This happened after the most recent update to 1.21.1 that came out today.

What specific "issues" is this causing with other features?
We have a bot on my realm and since the update to PlayStation Minecraft yesterday this makes the bot think they are a bot and it won't allow them to join.
It is also messing with the joining and leaving notifications. It doesn't let us know when said PlayStation players are leaving and joining, except for me, which is weird cause I am on Playstation also.

How does the bot work exactly and what is it for?
From what we know, this would be WAI since these are the recent technical changes that were to be implemented for some time now.

The bot keeps track of players joining and leaving and relays chat to our discord. They have since fixed the issue with it not letting PlayStation players join.

This does not seem like intentional behavior as Realm Stories showing Microsoft Account Name at all times while in-game shows Playstation Username. This appears only to impact Playstation console.
Many people are impacted by this issue and would be nice to fix, aside from any bot behavior. We would simply like to go by our Microsoft Account so that adding friends is easy and works across platforms, as originally intended.
